How it works

Therapy that starts where you are

From your first enquiry to your last session, here's what working with us looks like – and what you can expect along the way.

You don't need to have it all figured out to begin. You only need to begin.

Getting started

Four simple steps to your first session

Reaching out is often the hardest part. We've kept everything after that as simple as possible.

1

Get a referral (optional)

To claim Medicare rebates, see your GP for a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral. No referral? You can still book.

2

Get in touch

Book an appointment or send us a question. We'll find a time that works for you.

3

Choose how to meet

See us in person in Baulkham Hills, or from home by secure telehealth anywhere in Australia.

4

Your first session

We'll talk about what's brought you here and what you'd like to change. You won't be asked to share more than you're ready to.

Your therapy journey

What happens in therapy?

1

Initial assessment

We start with a thorough assessment to understand your concerns and develop a personalised treatment plan.

2

Set goals together

We work out what matters most to you and set realistic, meaningful goals that reflect your needs.

3

Work towards change

Each session, we explore your experiences, build practical skills and try strategies that fit your life and values.

4

Review and move forward

We regularly review progress, adapt as needed, and help you build the confidence to keep the changes going beyond therapy.
