Understand the patterns, and find your way back to yourself.

Space to explore recurring relationship patterns, boundaries and a sense of self that feels unsettled.

Relationships can bring out parts of us that are hard to understand on our own. You may find yourself saying yes when you want to say no, withdrawing when closeness matters, or having the same painful argument in different forms. Sometimes the question is less about one relationship and more about who you are becoming.

Changes in work, health, family or culture can also unsettle your sense of self. You may feel caught between what others expect and what actually matters to you.

A space to make sense of the pattern

Individual therapy gives you time to look at what happens in your relationships without having to decide who is “at fault”. We can explore:

  • Familiar roles and beliefs about yourself
  • Boundaries
  • The ways you respond when you feel hurt, uncertain or disconnected

Luke may draw on Schema Therapy, ACT and other approaches to help you understand these patterns and practise different responses. The work can be about making decisions, speaking more openly, building self-respect or finding a clearer direction during a transition. We will shape the focus around what matters to you.

Start where you are

You do not need a crisis or a diagnosis to benefit from this kind of conversation. If something keeps repeating, or you no longer recognise the life you have been living, we can begin there.
